The BC Conservative Party hasn’t had a party leader since October. That was when the party board stripped former leader Dan Brooks of his title – they ruled the board vote that made him leader didn’t have quorum.
Nevertheless, they say they’re nominating candidates and getting ready for the provincial election in May – with or without a leader. If one of their candidates wins a riding, it will be the first time since 1978 that BC elects a BC Conservative MLA.
