While snow is continuing to fall in some areas of Metro Vancouver, crews on the Alex Fraser and Port Mann Bridge will be keeping a close eye on the cable collars.
Executive Director of Highway Operations Norm Parkes says between three and four centimetres of snow has already accumulated on the bridge.
Parkes says as the temperatures warm up, that snow has been shedding lightly.
“We have been on 24/7 coverage and also have Traffic Control on standby should anything be required.”
He says vehicles have not been damaged.

In an email to CKNW, TI Corp spokesman Greg Johnson says that crews will be using the cable collar system to clear snow every 15-20 minutes.
