Burnaby Mounties are looking for witnesses in two arson investigations.
The first one happened on Thursday, February 23, at around 12:30 a.m., in the 5600 block of Hastings Street.
A molotov cocktail was thrown through the business’ window but didn’t break.
The second incident happened on Saturday, February 25, at around 1:30 a.m. at the same location.
A witness said they saw a man throw a smoke grenade through the store’s window, and a small fire began on the ground in front of the business.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5-feet-8 inches tall, heavy-set, and was wearing an orange safety vest and a dark-coloured hoodie.
