Not surprisingly, NDP Leader John Horgan says the 2017 provincial budget is about the Premier trying to make voters forget all the services that have been neglected over the past 16 years.
But he did find one upside…
“They’re not going to shake down students with debt anymore. For the past number of years the BC Liberals have added two to three percent on the cost of borrowing for students and now they say they are going to eliminate that so I pat them on the back for that one move.”

Horgan says now that they’ve seen the province’s fiscal plan the NDP will put together their platform based on that.
It should be out in the next few weeks.
