Premier Christy Clark says there will be an investigation into the alleged hacking of the B.C. Liberals website.
She made the comments Thursday morning while speaking to Jim Harrison with CHNL in Kamloops.
Earlier this week, the Premier said the B.C. NDP were behind the hacking.
On Thursday, she said she was quick to lay blame, and should have waited until the investigation was complete.
“You know – you’re right…I shouldn’t have jumped to those conclusions so quickly. Let’s make sure, you know, make sure – an investigation, I’m sure, will be under way. Let’s wait for the results of the investigation. I’m sure they’ll uncover the individual that did it in the Legislature.”
When asked by CHNL if she’d be willing to apologize to B.C. NDP leader John Horgan….
“Well, I mean, if Mister Horgan really feels like he needs an apology, I’ll see him on Tuesday, and I’m sure he’ll have the opportunity to raise that directly with me.”
