Vancouver Police hope you’ll be able to help them solve a mystery.
It comes after an injured man was found in Stanley Park last November.
Police were tipped off by a passerby, just after 2 a.m., about a man in a grey 2011 Toyota Corolla.
When officials arrived, they found the 82-year-old man suffering from serious injuries.
He was rushed to hospital and remains there.
Police have video of a man in the area at the time of the incident but have not been able to identify him.
The man is seen walking with a limp towards the seawall from the totem poles. He’s wearing a light-coloured sports coat, dark pants, and white shoes.
But police say he is not a suspect at this time.
“It’s not clear what role, if any, he played in the assault,” says VPD spokesperson Constable Jason Doucette in a statement. “We believe someone is going to recognize him from the video, and we need them to call us and help solve this mystery.”
Anyone with information should contact VPD or Crime Stoppers.
