A man accused of murdering his sister, who was a popular Surrey teacher, has been found not criminally responsible.
Thirty-year-old Jarek Paderewski has been found not criminally responsible by reason of a mental disorder for the death of his sister, 33-year-old Maja Paderewski.
She was a popular North Surrey Secondary School teacher in the business education department who was found dead in her Coquitlam home on Panorama Drive nearly three years ago.

Her brother was originally charged with second-degree murder.
Under the criminal code, the case is now turned over to the B.C. Review Board.
