It’s not cheap to live in Vancouver, and many people have started to get creative with cost-saving measures and unique rental spaces.
But one man has taken things to a new level by living in a storage locker. For two months.
In a video posted to Reddit, the user known as 007craft claims to have lived in a South Vancouver storage unit for $205 per month, with power and water hooked up.
He says he showered at local gyms and used the storage facility’s washroom. In the video he says to pull something like this off, you need to be “a ghost.”
According to the post, the man didn’t have anywhere to stay after coming home from hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, so he moved in with his belongings instead.
He says he has now moved out of the unit, since being evicted in November, and into a real apartment.
