We still have a couple of days of cold temperatures before rain and milder air arrives on the South Coast.
Global BC meteorologist Mark Madryga says the snow that’s still on the ground should melt early next week.
“Well, it appears now that we’re going to get out of this cold snap here in the Vancouver area, without snow; precipitation not expected through Sunday, although a bit more cloud rolling in through the weekend. Temperatures of plus four on Sunday. Really, the main melting of what snow is on the ground now will come Monday afternoon through Tuesday and Wednesday; lots of rain rolling in. Temperatures soaring to between eight and ten degrees for afternoon highs.”
