B.C.’s anti-gang unit says two men from Ontario have been charged after a targeted murder attempt back in 2015.
Sergeant Lindsey Houghton with the CFSEU says this was a highly planned and targeted attempt that saw the men travel across the country for the killing.
“We began investigating the attempted murder of a man well-known for his gang involvement and criminal connections since the failed attempted on his life in Richmond in April of 2015. After learning of the incident days after it took place we took conduct of this investigation that eventually led us across the country.”
19-year-old Knowah Truth Ferguson and 30-year-old Gino Gavin McCall have both been charged with conspiracy to commit murder; both are still in custody.
Houghton wouldn’t say which gang member the targeted man belongs to.
