A police pursuit was caught on citizen dash cam in West Kelowna after a suspect rammed into a police car.
An RCMP vehicle was damaged in the collision, and two civilian vehicles were towed.
Eastbound lanes of the William R. Bennett bridge were initially shut down due to the incident, but have since reopened.
Kelowna RCMP say two people have been taken into custody.
Meanwhile, Delta Police are using a brand new tactic to combat dangerous drivers and lessen the need for high speed car chases like this one.
A GPS dart is attached to a police vehicle’s grill and can be launched by remote, or from inside to track the suspect vehicle in question.
Eight police cars are currently equipped with the technology.
