The BC Coroner’s Service have identified the man who died in last month’s avalanche in Valemount.
In a release, they say 27-year-old Edmonton resident Joshuah Bradshaw died at the scene after being caught in the December 30th snow slide.
Bradshaw was part of a group of 3 who were sledding in a part of the Clemina Creek Snowmobiling Area known as the Morning Glory Bowl.
Both the coroner and Valemount RCMP continue to investigate.
Last year was a particularly deadly avalanche season in B.C., with 14 lives lost – nearly all of them snowmobilers.
