The bitterly cold air is leaving, but snow is coming.
Global BC meteorologist Mark Madryga:
“Well, [it will be] another cold, clear day Thursday, but the clouds will begin to increase late today and into this evening, as the weather system moves down from the north-northwest. Right now, it looks like light snow will develop in Metro Vancouver later this evening, through overnight. Two to four centimetres is expected. And as the system lingers tomorrow, another two to five centimetres is in the cards.”
Madryga says Saturday will see drier conditions, with Sunday seeing either rain or a mix of rain or snow.
