Today’s snowfall caused problems at Vancouver international Airport, where dozens of arriving flights were delayed.
But YVR’s Chris Devauld says things are back to normal now.
“We had our snow operations team out in full force. Now that the snow is gone I’m happy to say the day was quite smooth and it was very minimal delays.”
He says travelers should still check in with their airlines and should give themselves extra time to get there.
Earlier delays included incoming flights from other parts of B.C., the rest of the country, and across the United States as well.
The local snow is expected to turn to rain later in the day.
