As the Lower Mainland gets its fourth snowfall of the season, ICBC is reminding drivers to take it slow.
During Metro Vancouver’s last snowstorm, ICBC say a 13 per cent bump in claim calls compared to the same day the year before.
This is why this time around they’re asking drivers to take it slow.
Spokesperson Sam Corea says drivers should allow for extra time to reach their destinations.
He says snow, slush or ice on the roads can be dangerous.
The Crown Corporation received more than four-thousand calls to their claim line last snowfall.
