The BBC reports that singer George Michael has died at age 53.
His publicist says he died “peacefully at home,” according to reports.
The artist was well-known for performing in ’80’s duo Wham! along with having a very successful solo career.
According to the singer’s official Facebook page, he was working on a documentary called “Freedom,” the title of one of his beloved hit songs, set to be released in March 2017.
His cause of death his said to be heart failure, according to CBS News.
