The snow looks to have wrapped up for the week, but the Lower Mainland is now in store for an arctic blast.
Temperatures are set to dip below zero in most areas on the south coast starting tonight, hitting double digits in some areas with the wind chill.
Global BC Meteorologist Kristi Gordon says that will have residents looking to bundle up.
“The cold arctic air is pushing in and this is just the start of it. Tonight, wind chills down to minus 18 in the east Fraser Valley. In Vancouver and Burnaby, wind chills of about minus two, minus four overnight,” Gordon says.
There are a number of arctic outflow and Extreme Cold warnings in place throughout B.C.
