According to Global News, the two dogs that attacked a 75-year-old man in Surrey last weekend have been seized, and will be put down.
The victim was attacked near 96th Avenue and 162A street, the same place two other people were attacked by pit bulls in October.
The dogs were identified to be the same pair.
When Global spoke to the owners Wednesday, they said they weren’t responsible for the attack on Sunday, but were responsible for the October attack.
Both the City and Surrey RCMP are reviewing any potential charges.
The owners will be fined $2,400 per dog, and will not be allowed to own pets.
