A very wet November following an extremely wet October, so says Global BC’s Mark Madryga.
“We had rain at the Vancouver airport in 25 of the 30 days in November, that’s measurable rain on 25 days. Our rainfall total was 240 millimetres, the average is just 186”.
However, that’s well-below the record of 350 millimetres set in 2006.
And he says it was even wetter is several other B.C. communities.
“Abbotsford had 325 millimetres of rain this month, exceeding their average by a long shot. And it was a record-breaker up on Vancouver Island, Comox close to 400 millimetres fell.”
