A United Nations gang associate may learn his fate in court today in relation to a fatal hit and run the claimed the life of a 25-year-old woman last March.
Twenty-five-year-old Ibrahim Ali pleaded guilty last month to dangerous driving causing the death of Emily Sheane.
Sheane was on her way home from her job in Vancouver when she was T-boned by Ali who was driving a Range Rover.

He ran a red light at a Burnaby intersection near BCIT and Sheane was killed instantly.
Ali fled the scene.
He also pleaded guilty to failing to stop at the scene of an accident causing bodily harm.
Ali is a known UN gang associate with a lengthy criminal record dating back to 2008.
