Vancouver Police are asking for public help in gathering more information about a shooting on October 4th.
Just before 3 a.m. that morning, a 21-year-old Vancouver man was riding his skateboard on Windemere Street near East 19th Avenue, when he heard a loud bang as a vehicle drove by.
Then he felt the pain and started screaming as he’d been shot in the hand.
Police say the victim is not known to them and there no obvious motive.
Police have released a set of surveillance images from a nearby camera showing a vehicle of interest.
VPD believe the car may be a newer model, red Mazda 3.
