A heads up if you’re planning on heading to Whistler today.
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the area, with 10 to 15 centimetres of snow expected throughout the day.
“Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow,” reads a statement from Environment Canada.
Ten centimetres fell overnight thanks to the system which passed through the South Coast overnight.
Ski and snowboard enthusiasts got an early start to the winter season when Whistler Blackcomb opened a day earlier this Wednesday.
