Vancouver police are looking to identify a man responsible for an alleged attack on a 13-year-old girl Thursday night.
The teen was walking along St. George Street near 20th Avenue around 6 p.m. when the man ran up from behind her, knocked her to the ground, and struck her on the leg.
He proceeded to remove her backpack and search through it before running off.
It’s believed he had a motive to rob the girl.
The man is described as having a dark complexion, 40 years old, 6 feet tall with a heavy build and wearing dark clothing.
