Vancouver Police say the Amber Alert for a four-year-old missing child is over.
Police say the child has been located safe and sound and the alleged parental abduction ended peacefully with her mother in custody.
Police say the suspect in the abduction does not have custody of the child, has no fixed address, and is involved in a high-risk lifestyle and behaviours.
VPD investigators identified a location in Surrey, and at about noon today the Surrey RCMP say they located both the mother and the missing four-year-old.
Police say this was the 19th Amber Alert activation since the program was launched in BC in 2004.
