Nine people have been arrested, including four minors, following what Surrey RCMP are calling a targeted early morning shooting.
Sgt. Alanna Dunlop says no one was hit by gunfire, but one person was slightly hurt after being cut by broken glass.
The shooting happened just after 3 a.m. this morning, in the parking lot of the Pacific Inn on King George Highway near 10th Avenue in South Surrey.
“Indications are that this is a targeted incident involving individuals who are known to each other,” she said.
According to police, a disagreement led to shots being fired between the occupants of two vehicles and both cars sped away.
Investigators believe both vehicles have now been recovered, although one was found outside Surrey and police are still confirming details.
