Sabra Canada Inc. is recalling some of its hummus products due to a possible listeria contamination.
Affected products include the classic hummus, roasted garlic, Greek olive, red pepper, sun-dried tomato, honey Dijon, amongst others.
Twenty-five products have been recalled. A full list can be found on Health Canada’s website.
Health Canada says those who think they have become sick should call their doctor.
Health Canada says food contaminated with Listeria may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick.
Some of the symptoms can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle ached, severe headache and neck stiffness.
Elderly people, pregnant women, or those with a weakened immune system are particularly at risk.
Health Canada says the recall was triggered by a similar recall in another country.
