It appears the District of West Vancouver council seat left empty by the death of Michael Lewis in August has been filled, as unofficial voting results in Saturday night’s byelection are tallied.
Architect Peter Lambur, a long-time West Vancouver resident, is the unofficial victor by several hundred votes.
Unofficial numbers say he won with 1,262 votes.
Andy Krawczyk came in a close second, with 939.
Official results will be released on Wednesday, November 23.
