He says the neighbourhood has become dangerous and says there are more and more drug problems in the area.
But he says the most alarming thing is that many children live in the neighbouring houses where the incident took place. He fears children aren’t safe in the area.
“If it had happened on a Monday, all these little kids leave the house at about 7, 7:30 walking down the lane. What happens if it had happened then? Look at all these little kids that would’ve been scared or shot and don’t know what’s going on.”
Investigators say one man has been taken to hospital, but the severity of his injuries remains unknown.
RCMP say they continue to investigate.
