A woman is recovering in hospital after being hit by an SUV Sunday night.
Langley RCMP say it happened just after 9 o’clock at the intersection of 203rd Street and 66th Avenue when she was crossing the street.
While the investigation is early, Corporal Douglas Cameron says it’s safer for people to wear reflective clothing.
“I can recommend, considering the bad weather, the fall that’s happening this year, is that if people are out on foot, especially at night, in inclement weather, that they wear some kind of reflective clothing. It certainly helps other cars see them.”
Police say that the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating.
