The community of Abbotsford is coming together today to celebrate the life of Letisha Reimer.
The young grade nine student was killed earlier this month in the horrific double stabbing at Abbotsford Senior Secondary.
But it’s her life Reimer’s family will remember today, and not the gruesome way she died in the halls of her high school.
You have likely seen the T-shirts and bumper stickers with the phrase #Abbystrong, which are being sold to show support for the victims.
There is also gofundme page, which has raised more than $50,000 for the grieving family.
Proceeds will go to the Reimer’s family, and her 14-year-old friend, who was injured in the attack.
A celebration of life for Reimer will be held at Central Heights Church in Abbotsford at 2 p.m. today.
And some grieving students will get a chance tomorrow to see the Vancouver Canucks, as the team donated 1,000 tickets to Abbotsford Senior Secondary.
