His sister-in-law, Daniela Lopilato, has now confirmed to Gente magazine in Argentina that Noah is battling liver cancer and has begun chemo. She said he was diagnosed on Nov. 1 after a liver biopsy.
“Cancer is a horrible disease, but we have faith that Noah will succeed. We know,” Lopilato told Gente. “It was time to begin treatment. Will be long and hard, but you have to go. They say that children are usually strong to withstand chemotherapy … and my nephew is a warrior.”
Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato say their son will be receiving treatment in the U.S.
The family have asked for prayers from the public, but also that people respect their privacy during this time.
