Police are on the hunt for three new suspects in a chilling double murder and kidnapping in East Vancouver back in September.
On September 17, police were called to a home on Dieppe Place and Dieppe Drive, where they found two people murdered, along with a four year old child hiding in what was described as a “violent” crime scene.
One man had also been kidnapped from the home.
Police rescued the victim shortly after in a dramatic takedown in New Westminster, and arrested three men in their 20s.
Now, VPD Sgt. Brian Montague says the investigation has led them to issue Canada-wide warrants for three more men.
“It’s likely that these aren’t going to be individuals that the general public will run into on the street, but there are individuals out there who will know where these three men are, that know these three men, and we’re hoping to hear from them,” Montague said.
Montague adds that anyone who sees them should call VPD’s major crimes section, but not approach them men.
“These individuals are likely very well aware that police are looking for them, they are extremely dangerous, and any information about their whereabouts we’d like to hear from you,” he said.
Erlan Lizandro Acosta, Matthew Scott Stewart, and Ellwood Thomas Bradbury are all facing charges of kidnapping and aggravated assault.
