Tracey Blyan is lost for words after her Abbotsford home flooded from a water main break early Saturday morning.
“I don’t know whether to scream, cry, scream, cry, I can’t even talk see, my brain is just not functioning. I just don’t know what to think, what to do.”
The single mother of five says she only moved into her rental house two weeks ago and didn’t have insurance.
“I have friends that wanna help, but I’m, like financially you know, but that that doesn’t help me with a place to live, my biggest concern is a place to live because we have nowhere to go.”
Blyan says her niece Tori Clark and her sister-in-law Lakota set up a GoFundme page to raise money for a hotel until she can move back home.
“It’s going, but it’s going slow.”
She says all she wants is a home for her and her kids, now she can’t even sleep.
“my head is like a big ball of confusion, I don’t know whether to scream, cry, or what. I, I can’t even think straight.”
Blyan says she won’t hear any details from her landlord until Monday.
