Good news for North Shore Rescue Saturday night.
Two hikers who went missing on Mount Seymour at around 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon have been found.
They are in good condition, and will be walked off the mountain.
Search Manager Peter Haigh says the two women, in their 40s, were separated from their group as they were making their way back to the parking lot.
“They might have taken a left turn, instead of a right turn to the parking lot, a left turn to Elsay Lake cabin.”
The group held a brief search on their own before calling for help at around 4:30 p.m.
The duo were found at 8:15 p.m.
They’re expected to be off the mountain by 1 a.m. Sunday morning.
