Friends and family of missing woman Florence Leung are appealing for shop owners in the West End to come forward with any information they might have after police found a banana and a Gatorade in her abandoned car found.
Mom-of-one Florence, who is believed to be suffering from post-partum depression, went missing from her home in New Westminster on October 25.
Her car was found a day later near Prospect Point.
Friend James Chang believes CCTV footage could hold some clues.
“We were wondering if she had the sense to buy it herself, and if so, where did she buy it from? And canvassing for video surveillance for grocery stores, shelters, hotels, around the West End would be a good way to go now.”
He has a message for her.
“Florence, your friends, your co-workers, anyone who has met you knows that you are such a sweet and kind person. We love you, we miss you. You’re tired, you need rest. Just come home, your husband Kim misses you a lot, your son needs you, we need you. “
Police no longer believe the 32-year-old is still in Stanley Park, after they found little trace of her.
