A man is dead in Langley, in what police are saying appears to be a case of foul play.
Police say they were called to 72nd Ave near 240th around 10:30 this morning for reports of a “suspicious circumstance” street where they found a man with serious injuries. Paramedics were called to the scene put were unable to resuscitate the victim.
Investigators say the homicide appears to be targeted, and that the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has now taken over the case.
The victim’s identity has not been released, and there’s no word yet on a suspect.
The 23700 block of 72 Avenue has been shut down for an indefinite length of time while police investigate.
