As a series of powerful storms hit Metro Vancouver this week, popular hiking trail Grouse Grind is closing due to the weather.
The Grind has closed indefinitely due to safety concerns from anticipated rainfall and strong winds.
This comes after Environment Canada issued a weather warning for Metro Vancouver as multiple storms approach the region.
A Grouse Mountain spokesperson says the trail might re-open before the end of the season.
“Public access to the Grouse Grind will be re-examined once the severe weather conditions abate,” reads a statement from Don Bradley.
The first of three storms will be hitting Metro Vancouver Wednesday night.
