CKNW’s sister station Global News reports that homeowners were scrambling during the early morning to shovel gravel in front of their homes in order to protect them from flooding.
“It’s not too bad,” said one resident to Global News. “The garage had a bunch of stuff on the floor but in the bedrooms most of the stuff was off the floor.”
Crews have shut the water in the area until the problem is fixed.
