Police officers from all over the province gathered Sunday in Stanley Park for a memorial to honour officers who died in the line of duty.
Bagpipes rang out at Brockton Oval, as officers from detachments across the province paid their respects at the somber ceremony.

Vancouver Police chief Adam Palmer was among those in attendance, tweeting out the hashtag #NeverForget.
The BC Law Enforcement Memorial says the ceremony is about ensuring the magnitude of police and peace officers’ sacrifices are never forgotten.
Constable Sarah Beckett’s name was also added to the honour roll; only two weeks ago criminal charges were approved against Kenneth Fenton in connection to her death on Vancouver Island.
