That from business leaders on Annacis Island, calling on Transportation Minister Todd Stone to implement an immediate “reduction or temporary suspension of the tolls on the Port Mann Bridge.”
Delta Chamber of Commerce director Rick Gibbs says many drivers continue to avoid the Port Mann Bridge, clogging up the South Fraser Road, affecting businesses on Annacis Island.
“At the end of the day we need to suspend or significantly reduce the tolls on the Port Mann Bridge. It’s losing $100 million dollars supposedly this year, projected to.”
So far he says, no response from Todd Stone.
