Splashdown Park in Tsawwassen will see its final visitors by the end of the day. After 33 years of summer fun, the water park’s lease is up and will not be renewed, as announced earlier this year.
The park first opened on Canada Day in 1984, and its social media pages have been promoting guests to return for #TheLastSplash as summer has come to a close. And along with the countdown to the final slide, park visitors from years past have reached out to share their memories and thank Splashdown for all the good times.
This is it! Today is your last chance to come by for a splash. We hope to see you at Splashdown today from 11 to 5! pic.twitter.com/yg16SJcaFy— Splashdown Waterpark (@SplashdownPark) September 11, 2016
