Criminal charges could be laid against four youth said by North Vancouver RCMP to be responsible for a fire at Dorothy Lynas Elementary.
In a statement, Corporal Richard de Jong says the fire became out of hand Sunday night, after they’d put an aerosol can on top of a small fire they started on the school’s roof.
No one was hurt, and the damage was contained to the roof.
District of North Vancouver firefighters responded to a blaze just after 5 p.m.
The fire was successfully extinguished in less than an hour by crews on scene.
Students attended classes on Monday as usual.
