Was it another case of a vehicle going way too fast?
That’s the question Vancouver Police are trying to answer after a crash on West 4th Avenue at Anderson Street at 4am.
When the vehicle went out of control and slammed into a power pole, two passengers were ejected while the driver was trapped inside.
They were rushed to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The intersection remains closed.
Last Monday a 68-year-old man and his 70-year-old wife died when their speeding SUV crashed on Seymour, near Davie Street.
Three pedestrians were struck.
