It’s official – Health Minister Terry Lake has announced he’s not going to seek re-election in May.
He tells CHNL Radio in Kamloops he thinks it will be a good change for his family, a good change for him, and says he knows that leaving now with the BC Liberals having such a strong team, is better than leaving at any other time.
Lake served 2 terms in office.
Lake says he’s not sure what he’ll do next.
Premier Clark has issued a statement saying acknowledging Lake’s contributions to government, while noting that he will continue as the Health Minister.
