WATCH: Police investigate possible crossbow murder
Three people are dead in what appears to have been a crossbow attack in Toronto this afternoon.
Police were called to reports of a stabbing in the Scarborough Village earlier today, and arrived to find two people dead at the scene and a third who was seriously hurt.
That victim later died of their injuries.
Cst. David Hopkinson with the Toronto Police told CKNW’s sister station Global News they are looking into whether the three were killed by a crossbow.
“We arrived to find people suffering injuries we believed from a crossbow bolt. Whether they were shot by that bolt, we don’t know yet, we haven’t investigated.”
Police did confirmed to Global that a crossbow was recovered at the scene.
Police have arrested one person, and homicide investigators have taken over the case.
