It’s a case of a nasty paint job in North Vancouver.
Officials say a contractor arrived Tuesday morning to find a home along Mackay Avenue had had paint splashed all over its walls.
The dark grey and white paints cover other areas, like a stove top, floors, a toilet, and the inside of the fridge.
The contractors say the damage to the property could be as high as $80,000.
In a release by RCMP, Cpl. Richard De Jong says those responsible may give themselves away by bragging about the crime.
“This appears to be a break and enter with intentional malicious willful damage displaying a total disregard for someone’s personal property… Someone out there will have paint on themselves from throwing that much paint around and likely will be boasting about their criminal behaviour to someone.”
Officials are looking for those responsible, and are asking those with more information to contact North Vancouver Mounties.
