Homicide investigators have made an arrest in a fatal stabbing outside a Port Coquitlam mall earlier this month.
34-year-old James Meanny is now in custody, and facing a charge of Second Degree Murder.
He’s accused of fatally stabbing 65-year-old Robert Harold Vidovich outside the Shaughnessy Square Shopping Centre back on August 7 after an altercation.
Meanny allegedly fled the scene, but late this evening investigators published his identity, warning the public Meanny was believed to be “armed and dangerous.”
Police announced an arrest late tonight.

It’s still unclear what sparked the deadly fight, or whether Meanny and Vidovich knew each other beforehand.
