One cat burglar may want to think of a new career, at least, once he’s out of custody.
Vancouver Police say a cat burglar has been arrested for break and enter after calling 9-1-1 following a botched rooftop break-in.
The 51-year-old man was attempting to break into a home through a skylight in the area of Matthews Avenue and Cypress Street around 1 a.m. on August 14th.
The problem was, he slid down the roof and got stuck, and he couldn’t descend the 25 feet to the ground below. This resulted in the man dialing 9-1-1 and asking for help.
Police and firefighters eventually got him off the roof.
He has a long history of break-ins and was taken into custody.
