Sad news from the Vancouver Aquarium today as they announced the passing of Jack the harbour porpoise.
The aquarium say he first started showing signs of illness on Tuesday, and passed away late last night.
Jack joined the aquarium in 2011, when he was rescued off the beach in Horseshoe Bay at just five weeks old.

Once he was rehabilitated, he joined fellow porpoise Daisy, who has been at the Aquarium since 2009.
The cause of Jack’s death has not been released.
