One person is in hospital with serious injuries after a violent attack in Burnaby.
Assistant Cheif David Graystone with Burnaby Fire says crews were called to Thurston St. and Smith Ave. just after 5:00 p.m.
“It was a male, aged 21, he had a laceration to his head, that he said was due to an assault. Our crews took care of the laceration, and took care of the patient until the BCAS arrived, and then they assisted BCAS with collaring the patient.”
Reports from the scene that the incident may have been road rage have not been confirmed.
Burnaby RCMP attended the scene, but have yet to comment.
